Renewabl has won the Mature Solution award in Monitoring, Reporting & Verification at the Innovation Zero Awards 2026. The ceremony took place at the World Congress at Olympia London on the 28th of April.

About Renewabl's submission to Innovation Zero Awards 2026

The awards drew almost 600 submissions from 64 countries this year. Twelve winners were named across six categories. Each category produced two: a Promising Solution (early-stage technology with proof of concept, TRL 4–6) and a Mature Solution (commercially deployed, already delivering measurable impact, TRL 7+). Renewabl took the Mature Solution award in MRV alongside Kestrix, the Promising Solution winner in the same category.

The judging panel consists of more than 150 corporate procurement leads, sustainability specialists, and cleantech investors – the people who actually buy, deploy, and report on climate solutions. We at Renewabl are proud to be assessed so highly against the four criteria: climate impact, client benefit, commercial scalability, and innovation strength. The Innovation Zero Awards are crafted from the corporate buyer's perspective, which is why the win means a lot for our team.

"As Prof Emily Shuckburgh CBE said in her keynote, we need to shorten the path from evidence to action. That's where I think Renewabl is most powerful: when it turns complex data into something teams can really use to drive strategic decisions and create value."
– Carolyn Addy, Renewabl

Why MRV is the right category for the work

MRV covers solutions that measure, analyse, and verify greenhouse gas emissions. In practice, that means the data layer behind credible Scope 2 reporting, regulatory filings, and procurement decisions: emissions measurement, carbon accounting, and the platforms that turn consumption and supply data into something a buyer or regulator can stand behind.

This is core platform work for Renewabl. Renewabl Track aggregates consumption across sites and meters, reconciles demand against EAC and PPA supply, and produces CFE and emissionality reporting at hourly, monthly, and annual intervals. Renewabl Trade runs the procurement side: competitive tenders with 120+ suppliers, matched to the buyer's real consumption profile rather than annual volume alone. The same data layer that earns the MRV recognition also underpins the procurement workflow, which is the point of an integrated platform.
