Renewable energy for manufacturers

Run tenders for PPAs and certificates, track your CFE score and Scope 2 across every plant, and show the brands you supply and the regulators that your power is genuinely clean. One platform, built for multi-site manufacturing.

Meet the renewable energy expectations of the brands you supply

The brands you supply, from automotive OEMs to electronics and consumer goods companies, carry Scope 3 targets they cannot reach without their suppliers. More of them now expect verified renewable electricity and clean Scope 2 data from the plants that make their products, and it increasingly shapes who wins and keeps the contract.

Renewabl gives you the evidence and the flexibility to respond:

Renewable energy for manufacturing across sectors

Most teams still track their renewable energy across spreadsheets and a handful of disconnected tools

Automotive & parts

OEM customers requiring renewable electricity across the supply chain

Electronics & semiconductors

energy-hungry sites and brand customers with strict Scope 3 targets

Chemicals, metals & cement

CBAM exposure on goods exported to the EU

Industrial goods & machinery

multi-site, multi-country energy cost and volatility

Consumer goods & packaging

retailer and brand-owner supplier requirements

Bring every plant's energy data into one platform

In most manufacturers, energy data is scattered: meter reads in one system, certificates in supplier portals, contracts in PDFs, and a carbon tool that only sees last year's totals.
Renewabl pulls procurement, certificate management and Scope 2 reporting into one platform, with a site hierarchy designed for large multi-country portfolios.

Tender for PPAs, certificates or a genuinely green tariff

Trade runs competitive tenders across 130+ verified suppliers and compares every offer on how well it matches your production, not just annual volume, so you choose the commitment that fits.
1
Tender for a PPA, traceable certificates or a green tariff in one place
2
Compare 130+ suppliers on price and on hourly coverage
3
Pick the route that suits your balance sheet, from certificates to a long-term PPA
Computer screen showing a line graph with monthly growth and two circular progress indicators for hourly and monthly match.

Turn plant data into audit-ready Scope 2 reporting

Track brings consumption, contracts and certificates from every plant into one place, and reports renewable coverage and Scope 2 by site, business unit and group, with full certificate traceability.
1
Bring every plant onto one view, across countries and business units
2
See renewable coverage and Scope 2 by site, with certificate traceability
3
Produce reporting you can hand to a brand you supply, an auditor or a CSRD filing
Computer screen showing a multicolor line graph and a map with location pins on a green background.

CBAM: prove your electricity emissions with clean power

From January 2026, if you export steel, aluminium, cement, fertiliser, hydrogen or electricity to the EU, you can report actual electricity emissions instead of grid-average defaults, but only with proof of hourly-matched, physically delivered clean power through a PPA or direct connection. Default values usually carry a higher carbon cost.
Renewabl helps you build and document that hourly-matched supply, so you can report the actual figure with evidence behind it.
Hourly matching

Be ready before customers ask

A plant running a solar PPA can read as 100% renewable across the year and still sit at 45% or lower once supply is matched to demand hour by hour. The brands you supply, CBAM and the GHG Protocol Scope 2 update are all moving towards time-matched proof.
No one expects every hour matched from day one. A common first step is to tighten from annual to monthly matching. Hourly matching is built into the platform underneath, so the day a brand or a regulator asks for granular data, you can produce it without re-platforming.

Digital Advisory

Start with a pilot, scale across plants

Energy is rarely anyone's full-time job in a manufacturing business, and the people who own it usually cover many plants at once. Renewabl's Digital Advisory does the heavy lifting alongside them, working from live platform data.
